  • Do not wax or thread your eyebrows 3 days before your procedure.
  • No facials or chemical peels a week prior to the scheduled appointment.
  • If there are any exfoliation products at home, please use on the brow area a week prior to the appointment for the skin to take in the pigment(s) easily during the procedure.
  • Apply a thin layer of healing ointment given to you by Christina only with clean qtip every time. Gently apply when area begins to feel tight and dry. Apply when is needed.
  • Always use a clean cotton swab. DO NOT use your finger tips! Do not touch the procedure site with your fingers! Your fingers may have bacteria on them, which may create an infection.
  • Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo during the healing process. Do not rub against or traumatize the area when it is healing. If you do so, the pigment may be removed along with the crusting tissues.
  • Restrictions of physical activities such as bathing, recreational water activities, gardening or contact with animals UNTIL the area is completely healed.
  •  NO salt water, sunlight, chlorine, makeup, eyebrow tinting, eyelash extensions, sauna, excessive sweating, soap, exfoliating products, whitening/brightening products on the procedure site UNTIL the tattoo is completely healed.
  • Sleep elevated on your back during the healing process.
  • You may shower and wash other parts of your face and body AS LONG as the water is not directly hitting the procedure site.

  • If you are experiencing any itching, swelling, blistering or any other complications post-procedure, STOP using the aftercare product and CONTACT YOUR ARTIST immediately! You may be allergic to the aftercare product!
  • When the area is half way done scabbing, you may allow water to directly hit the area. However, please still avoid rubbing against the procedure site until all scabs have fallen off completely and naturally.
  • Healed results will vary per person depending on: skin, blood type, existing hair, bone structure, face shape, the amount of times the area had been worked on, lifestyle, medications and aftercare.

HEALING PROCESS: 7-20 DAYS VARIES PER PERSON.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN PIGMENT COLOR LOSS.
ANNUAL RETOUCHES ARE RECOMMENDED TO MAINTAIN COLOR’S INTEGRITY.

  • Brows will appear darker and thicker due to the freshness of an open wound.
  • Redness, swelling, and stinging is normal and should subside by the following day completely. If the area feels unbearable for certain individuals who have low pain tolerance, please use a clean ice pack for comfort.
  • For the first couple of days, brows will appear dark and very defined before the scabbing phase. The thickness will subside gradually as the days go by.
  • Once the brow area starts to peel, it will appear flaky and unappealing. The area may feel a bit dry. Please follow the aftercare instructions below on how to take care of the procedure site.
  • Once all scabs have fully fallen off completely and naturally, healed results should appear 10-30% lighter in color and 5% smaller in size from the initial.

Tattoo Removal/Lightening

  1. KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else, leave open to air. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing. You should not be touching the area at all but if you find yourself needing to please make sure your hands are exceptionally clean.
  2. DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry but if you do get it wet gently pat dry.
  3.  NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TOBS, TANNING, OR EXERCISE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  4. DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process (i.e. no picking, scratching, etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.
  5. TREAT AREA WITH TLC. DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL THAT COULD CAUSE ISSUES OR PROBLEMS TO THE TREATED AREA.
  6. ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF, apply one drop Vitamin E Oil 3 to 4 times throughout the day for 8 weeks until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the Vitamin E oil UNTIL all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off. The goal is to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off.

    • It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 8 full weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be done. No exceptions

    • Lightening and/or removing unwanted pigment is a long process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing a lightening product service or laser. Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work. Expect visible and wanted results in 2 to 5 sessions. How many sessions needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted and how much needs to be removed for the desired result. In many cases only a percentage of the pigment needs to be lightened/removed and then we can continue the correction process by color correcting or color shifting. In those cases where we have pigment misplaced or in an unwanted area, color correcting will not be an option and removing as much of the pigment as possible will be our ultimate goal.

Lip Blush

  • No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure
  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
  • Do not drink coffee or any caffeine on the day of your appointment.
  • No Botox or filler injection on or around the lips 2 weeks prior.

Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. If you have a history of getting cold sores in the past, it is highly recommended you consult with your physician prior to the appointment. Cold sores can be prevented most of the time by taking Valtrex (prescription medication) prior to the procedure.

  • It is very important to remove the lymph fluid from the surface of the skin in order to avoid heavy scabbing.
  • Before bed, if the lips still have some dry lymph, rinse with lukewarm water, gently removing the dry lymph, pat dry and apply Healing Balm.
  •  Only water wash the lips for one week. Pat dry gently and apply thin layer of Healing Balm
  • Do not rub or pick at the dry flaky skin/scab.
  • Avoid: water (aside from cleaning), makeup, tanning, swimming, excessing sweating, sauna, spicy food, kissing.
Drinking through a straw for one week.
  • Do not let your lips dry out. Continue to apply ointment throughout the day to moisturize your lips.

  • Swelling and bruising is normal for the first few days. To relieve the swelling, you can ice the area with soft gel ice packs.
  • Slight stinging sensation or soreness in the first few days is also normal.
  • You will experience dry, flaky lips for the first 3-5 days. Once the pigment flakes off, it will appear as though no pigment retained. The colour will gradually bloom to a soft shade 6-8 weeks after ALL the flakes peel off.
  • A follow-up touch-up is usually necessary and can be completed any time after 8 weeks from the initial appointment.

Lash Line Enhancement

  • No fake lashes – they have to be removed at least 2 weeks prior to the appointment and can’t be put back on until 2 weeks after the touch up
  • No lash serums for at least one month before
  • No lash lifts/tints at least 10 days prior, and must wait 2 weeks after touch up
  • No Blepharitis (eyelid infection, usually caused by poor makeup removal habits and falsies)
  • Eye surgery needs a min of 6 months before tattoo, but surgery on the actual eye itself needs a note from doctor
  • We recommend on a dry healing method (until the scabs are gone – usually it takes about one week, might be longer for some, but generally about that time)
  • Between appointments, be careful not to use creams/products that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.

DAY 1: May be some swelling by end of day. Clients may apply ice over a clean cloth, but not directly on skin.

DAY 2: May be some swelling, but should go down by the end of this day or the next.

DAY 3: Skin may feel dry, this is normal. Light layer of provides ointment may be applied, but very carefully and not in excess.

DAY 4 ONWARD: Continue to keep area dry and free of makeup/products until scabs are gone (no sauna, pools, sunbathing, do not peel scabs)
